Artist statement:
"This piece is a silly ode to the beating heart of my little skateboard production operation - The Black Cat skateboard Press. I designed and commissioned this press to be built by my friend and fabricator, Magnus Holmquist in 2021. Magnus made me a unit that i have taken nothing but joy from operating. It has had many boards within its jaws but until now has never been on a board itself. Its likeness comes with a nod to my scrappy notes chalked upon its beams including the Black Cat himself. Bruce."
